Handmade Aromatherapy Healing Wraps For Instant Pain and Stress Relief
In the beginning, Peaceful Wraps were simply heat packs filled with rice and dried lavender that you could toss into a microwave or freezer.
But, since there are many ways to make them, various styles and shapes and the competition on Etsy is through the roof, I began to experiment and try to develop my own styles. I invited my customers to provide their feedback and ideas, which helped me make improvements for durability, holding in the scents for longer periods of time, and they came up with uses for wraps I had not considered.
I make other items too, in phases. There was the headband phase, and turban wraps filled with lavender and headbands with wicking material for runners who didn’t want sweat in their eyes. I’ve made eye pads, eye pillows, yoga mat carriers, boho bags, messenger bags, warmers for horses and once, a circle shirt, which you don’t want to see. I really messed that one up.
What’s Inside the Peaceful Wraps?
The basic mixture is a base of flaxseed that I buy locally and cheap bags of rice. Depending on what’s being made, corn is tossed in. Each of these has its own heat retention capabilities and weight considerations.
Next are the dried ingredients, which is always organic dried lavender as the base. Some mixtures will contain dried rose flowers and dried peppermint. I also have dried patchouli, and cedar chips and mint from my garden.
Then the oils.
Lavender, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Wintergreen, Tea Tree, Bergamot, Myrrh, Patchouli , Menthol, Camphor, Cedar, Vanilla
Young Living Oils: Lavender, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Bergamot, Tangerine, Thieves, Special Blends, special order requests
